TREK: Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
Once you have travelled up to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro you will be 19,341 feet above sea level and at the highest peak in Africa. As well as the normal view across Tanzania, there is also a beautiful sunrise. WALK: Chadar (Frozen River) – Zanskar River Valley, India.
The Chadar frozen river trek is an extremely glamorous trek in India. It is a winter-trail in Zanskar region of Ladakh, in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Its walls are near vertical cliffs up to 600 m high and the Zanskar River (a tributary of the Indus) is only 5 m wide in places.
